Registration open for New York State Small Business Tour on June 6th at HVCC

Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the launch of a new small business outreach effort, led by the New York State Department of Labor, to help connect entrepreneurs to no-cost supports and services. As part of this effort, representatives from DOL and other state agencies will be touring the state throughout June.

The Capital Region event will be held on June 6, 2023, at 5:30 pm at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) in Troy.

The Small Business Tour will provide businesses the opportunity to learn about the free services New York State has to offer, with speakers and representatives from:

• New York State Department of Labor

• New York State Department of Taxation and Finance

• New York State Workers Compensation Board

• New York State Empire State Development

• New York State Department of State

The representatives from these agencies will discuss the resources available from New York State to help your business grow and thrive. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have about regulations, licenses, insurance, taxes, recruiting, and more.
